Chase Brooks

  • Hometown: Rankin, TX

  • Currently living in Iraan, TX

  • Interests: fishing, hunting, golf, cruising the backroads with my wife

  • Bio: Chase grew up hunting and fishing whenever he got the chance and always dreamed of fishing for a living.  He was introduced into bass fishing as a sport in 2006 and has been addicted ever since!  Chase started working his way up through the ranks, starting at the club level fishing with the Castle Gap Bass Busters out of Del Rio, TX.  Then he began fishing local opens and local Team Trails.  In 2011, Chase joined with the B.A.S.S Federation Nation and qualified for the Region Championship and the Top 6 State Championship two years in a row.  In May of 2014, Chase took the plunge and left the West Texas Oil/ Gas fields after working there 9 years in order to fish full time.

  • 2014 Accomplishments

    • USA Fishing Trails Angler of The Year

    • won the USA Fishing Trails Championship on Lake Amistad

  • 2015 Accomplishments

    • Fished the Bassmaster Opens  

    • Fished the FLW Rayovac (Costa) Series as a Pro

    • Finished 26th in AOY in the Bass Central Opens

    • Finished 23rd in Bass Central Open on Ross Barnett Reservoir

  • 2016 Accomplishments

    • Fished his first year on the WalMart FLW Tour

  • 2017 Accomplishments

    • Logged his first top 30 finish when he placed 29th in the WalMart FLW Tour event on Lake Travis

 

Hunter Freeman

  • ​​Hometown: Eros, Louisiana

  • Currently living in Monroe, Louisiana

  • Interests: Fishing, Family, Friends, Waterfowl hunting

  • Bio: Hunter grew up in Eros, LA where Caney Lake was his home lake.  Fishing for a living never entered his mind as a career possibility until he fished and WON his first tournament at the young age of 14.   Hunter is currently a Business major at ULM in Monroe, LA and is a member of the ULM Fishing Team.  During the upcoming Bass Fishing season, Hunter will be fishing the Collegiate Trails as well as the BFL’s in the Cowboy Division and the Costa Series.  When Hunter is not on the water, he can be found hanging out with family and friends, cooking and sharing meals together.  During hunting season, Hunter also spends some of his time hunting waterfowl while Bass fishing remains his number one interest and pastime.

    • Finished 5th place in the FLW College Fishing National Open on Kentucky Lake

    • ULM Bass Fishing Team Member

    • Finished 11th place in the College Bassmaster Central Regional on Sam Rayburn

    • Finished 10th place in the Yeti College Fishing National Open on Kentucky Lake

    • Finished 4th place in the ACA Texas Shootout on Lake Texoma

    • Finished 25th place in the FLW College Fishing National Championship on Wheeler Lake
